As a student of French Literature as well as English and American Literature, I’m especially interested in translation, especially of nineteenth century French poetry and fiction. I am also a teacher of composition and am interested in working with nontraditional students with learning or language barriers.
Professional Experience
I have taught students at the college level for forty years and have developed an understanding and appreciation of the student group I serve. I both respect and admire my students’ idealism, energy, and willingness to experience and experiment with different ways of approaching very familiar material.
