Nicole’s research interests and areas of expertise include visual and auditory stimuli as a means of emotional regulation/stimulation, transportation narrative using visual imagery, and psychological and sociological adaptation and change based on adaptation of new technology.
Professional Experience
Nicole has been working in research design and creative experiences for over a decade. Prior to joining Ford as the Experience Design Research Manager in 2018, she worked as a consultant helping high profile brands and universities design and conduct ethnographic and usability studies to drive significant corporate change.
In her current job at Ford, she travels around the globe overseeing global research events and assisting all branches of the Global Consumer Insights team in creating innovative and harmonious holistic research experiences.
She joined College for Creative Studies as an adjunct professor in 2018 and teaches Contextual Design Research, Interaction Design Research in the MFA program, and currently serves as a thesis advisor for Interaction Design MFA students.
