Detroit Artists Market (DAM) Celebrates Prestigious Comic Book Artists, Many CCS Alumni

CCS alumni are oozing out of two comic book-centric events. “Inspired by Detroit Comic Book Artists,” which showcases the intersection of art and the comic book genre from Friday, August 19 to Thursday, September 1, 2022. This exhibition is followed by a panel discussion on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 2 p.m. “DAMICON,” is a celebration of Detroit’s comic book culture, and a tribute to those featured in the exhibition. The panel will feature artists who have worked on projects for Facebook, “The Little Mermaid,” “Iron Man,” among others.
