CCS & 313 Presents Announce Second Annual Pine Knob Poster Competition

313 Presents and College for Creative Studies (CCS) announce Illustration student Kat Sutherland as the winner of the second annual poster design competition.

313 Presents sponsors a class each fall to highlight the talents of the top illustration and design students in the country. This year’s contest included numerous participants from the CCS Illustration class led by Chair of Illustration Don Kilpatrick. Hosted throughout the 2023 Fall semester, 313 Presents worked with students to provide real-world experience with an actual “client” to create a professional look and feel for their finished creation that was to represent Pine Knob’s beloved summertime tradition and serve as its official limited run 2024 commemorative poster. Students with the top three designs received small scholarship awards from 313 Presents.

The winning poster will serve as the venue’s Proud Partner promotional giveaway at select events. Concertgoers who attend Hootie & The Blowfish on June 6 will receive Pine Knob’s latest-edition keepsake poster.
