Dennis Jones creative output has included paintings, sculptures, drawings, installation, photography and books. Jones’ current focus is on a continuously growing body of paintings, in mixed media on canvas that combine elements of abstraction and representation, intuition, humor, the mutability of paint, death and rebirth.
Professional Experience
Dennis Jones is a visual artist, educator, and licensed practicing architect. He has participated in several one person and group shows, totaling sixty-one exhibitions that include local, national and international venues that span a career of twenty-six years. Jones work was selected to be included in the New American Paintings Midwest Competition Publication due out sometime, in 2019. Jones had a one- person exhibition, Candyland, from September through December of 2018, at The University of Michigan, NCRC Galleries. dennismichaeljones.space
