Merit and need based scholarships and grants are awards that do not require repayment.
CCS Graduate Scholarships
Applicants to CCS are automatically considered for CCS Graduate Scholarships once they complete their admissions requirements. Awards are based on the portfolio review and academic achievement of the applicant and can vary from student to student during the admission process. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to continue receiving these scholarships.
International Student Grant
New and returning International students are awarded this grant in the first semester of enrollment each academic year.
Loans
Loans are financial aid components available to U.S. citizens that require repayment—with interest.
Federal Unsubsidized Direct Student Loan Program
These are fixed-rate, non-need-based loans that are available to all students who have completed the FAFSA . The Unsubsidized Direct Loan begins accruing interest from the time the loan is disbursed. Federal Graduate PLUS Loan Program
“Grad Plus” fixed-rate loans are based on a credit application, which you apply online through StudentLoans.gov. This loan program allows you to make up the difference between the cost of your education and all other financial aid awards. Repayment of this loan begins 6 months after graduation, withdraw from school or drop below half-time enrollment status (< 6 credits). Learn more about Federal Graduate PLUS Loans.
Loans to Graduate Assistant Positions

Work Study Programs
Student Employment Program
The College-funded work program meets campus needs and employs students ineligible under federal work-study programs.

Graduate Assistant
Graduate assistant positions are available on a limited basis each academic year for both new and current students. Types of GA (graduation assistant) positions within the Graduate Programs Office vary from research, tutoring, clerical/administrative or studio/lab support. The positions are paid hourly with work schedules to be determined by faculty or administrative supervisor.
